A beautifully architectural Chloé cropped cape jacket from the Fall/Winter 2013 collection, designed during Clare Waight Keller’s tenure as creative director. Cut in substantial black virgin-wool blend fabric, this sculptural piece combines the polish of a tailored jacket with the fluid proportions of a cape.
The silhouette is defined by a structured pointed collar, asymmetric front overlap and single glossy black button fastening at the neckline. Rather than conventional set-in sleeves, the jacket opens into dramatic cape-style sleeves that flare outward from the shoulders, creating volume and movement while leaving the lower arms exposed.
Curved seam work follows the body and continues around the back, culminating in a softly sculpted, subtly scalloped hem. The cropped length makes the voluminous silhouette particularly wearable with high-waisted trousers, skirts, dresses or denim.
The interior construction is equally noteworthy. Contrasting beige grosgrain ribbon beautifully finishes the seams and edges, highlighting the garment's paneled construction. The neckline retains both the woven Chloé label and delicate gold-tone Chloé chain plaque. Interior button tabs provide additional structure and fastening.
Crafted from an 80% virgin wool / 20% polyamide outer with 100% cupro lining.

Excellent pre-owned condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with use. The black wool remains rich in color and the garment retains its intended structure and silhouette.
